Identikit

Originally from Brazil and Peru, fittonia was introduced in Europe in 1867 and takes its name from two English sisters, Elizabeth and Sara Fitton who wrote together a book entitled "Conversation on Botany" in the first half of the nineteenth century.

It loves humidity which is why its ideal location are rooms in which there is a good degree of humidity such as the bathroom and the kitchen. Also ideal for terrariums.





Main damages and remedies

Leaf drop and poor plant growth may be due to the fact that the plant was placed in too cold a place
